The indoor pool was fantastic and the creek view from our room was a nice touch. The room felt outdated, and we could hear noise from other rooms. Close to local fishing spots and mini-golf, which was nice.

The view from my room was great, overlooking a lovely creek. The indoor pool was nice but the parking was a bit cramped. There’s a mini golf nearby, which is fun. The check-in process was smooth, and staff were friendly. Just be prepared for a steep walk if you go downtown.

Comfortable room, comfortable atmosphere with a beautiful creekside balcony that allowed us to listen to the soothing sounds of nature as we fell asleep and friendly staff who greeted us with smiles and were eager to help with any questions we had.
Everything exceeded my hopes.

The balcony view over the stream is perfect for relaxation. The indoor pool is right across from the rooms and has a great vibe.
Some areas felt a bit neglected.

Great location, just a minute from the main strip, made it easy to explore. Loved the creekside balcony—listening to the water was peaceful. Friendly staff added a welcoming touch. The heated pool was perfect, but the lack of pool rules left a lot to be desired, especially with noisy kids around. The rooms could use some upgrades; the bathroom felt cramped and dated. Still, the cozy atmosphere by the creek kept things relaxing despite the hiccups. Would consider returning if some issues are addressed.

Plus, the hot water situation was a joke—couldn’t fill the jacuzzi at all! Definitely not worth the price.

The staff was helpful with our late check-in and extended our stay without hassle. We enjoyed the indoor pool, hot tub, and the convenient access to the trolley right outside.
It wasn't the most economical option, but it’s still manageable.

Our stay was simply delightful, with the famous Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies just a short 1.5 km stroll away, and many other attractions like the Gatlinburg Space Needle and Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine also within easy walking distance of about 1 km, making daily explorations a breeze; plus, I loved relaxing on the balcony where we even spotted a bear fishing in the river below! The hotel had great amenities, including multiple pools and friendly staff to help us discover local eats and the trolley system for further adventures. parking was a bit of a challenge during peak times, especially on weekends.

I loved being close to a dog, friendly walking trail, the fantastic arcade collection, and the lovely picnic spot by the stream , a perfect pet.
Waking up to delightful construction noise.

The location was super convenient, just a short walk to all the attractions on the main street. Plus, the pool area was a great spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring.
The rooms were not up to par. They were in serious need of updates and proper cleaning.

The staff made our stay feel so welcoming and warm. The indoor pool and hot tub were perfect for relaxing after a day of fun. Plus, the riverfront room with a balcony was such a treat – I loved falling asleep to the sound of water!

Just a proper fit for short visits in Gatlinburg with best value for money ratio. Staff was very friendly.

Conveniently located, just a five-minute drive from town. The rooms, while a bit small and dated, are clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the cozy balcony overlooking the creek—perfect for a morning coffee. The breakfast at the onsite café exceeded expectations, especially the biscuits and gravy. housekeeping fell short; no fresh towels or coffee during our stay. Pool areas were nice but heavily chlorinated. Staff was friendly, yet communication could improve—especially regarding room service policies. Lacked a microwave and experienced maintenance issues, including ants in the bathroom. It’s family-friendly, but be prepared for some noise. Would consider staying again, but with expectations managed.

The king-sized bed was fairly comfortable, though a bit on the hard side. The room temperature was easy to adjust once I figured out the heating unit. I did find the sheets slightly scratchy, but I always travel with my own pillow and blanket. The bathroom felt small, and my tall husband had difficulty in the shower. I appreciated the electric fireplace's warmth, especially on cooler nights. A microwave would have been a welcome addition in the room.

The serene river views and lush greenery made it a peaceful escape. The convenience of exploring the main strip with the easily accessible trolley added to our joyful family adventure.
My kids wished for more family-friendly activities onsite.

First off, let's talk about the heating situation. The heater in our room struggled to keep up with the cold temperatures outside. It was so cold in the mornings that we could see our breath inside! We even had a bit of an issue with our toilet freezing up, which was not fun to deal with. On the bright side, the location of the hotel was fantastic. It was far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the town to avoid noise but still within walking distance of everything we wanted to visit. The pools and outdoor seating areas were perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. Now, onto some areas that could use improvement. The room itself was a bit outdated and in need of some love. The bedding had some worn spots and tears, which was disappointing. We were also told that there would be no daily maid service during our stay, and we had to keep asking for fresh towels and take out our own trash. the limited parking was a bit tricky to navigate, especially if you're not used to tight spaces. The noise from the construction work happening nearby was quite disruptive, especially early in the morning. And don't even get me started on the rowdy guests in the pool area - not exactly the peaceful experience we were hoping for. our stay at Sidney James Mountain had its ups and downs. While the location and amenities were enjoyable, the issues with heating, room upkeep, and noise levels left something to be desired.

We loved the creek side balcony room with a great view of the river! The staff was super friendly, and the pools were a hit, especially the one with the cafe. It was ideal for a romantic escape, and waking up to a bear visit was unforgettable!
The room was a major letdown. It urgently needed updates – new vanities, fresh paint, and better beds for a comfortable stay.

Had a blast with friends on Twin Creeks Trail, shopped for quirky gifts, and jammed out on the trolley. The town's like a disco club, so much fun!
Wished for a happening nightclub nearby for even more party vibes.

I had a great time at this cozy lodge in Gatlinburg. The location was perfect, just a short walk from downtown and close to Pigeon Forge. The highlight of my stay was definitely the creek side balcony, where I enjoyed the peaceful sound of the water and even had a visit from a black bear! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the heated pool and hot tub were a nice touch. The room was clean and spacious, and I loved the view from the balcony.
That my key card kept not working and I had to keep going to the lobby to get it fixed. It was a bit annoying and the explanation about credit cards erasing it didn't make much sense.
